THE OASIS
This project deals with integration and interaction, the story of a culture and the luxury it brings with it.
In the new masterplan for Gellerupparken and Toveshøj: two largescale developments from the 70's, huge areas around the housing blocks will be turned into new buildings and employment for the residents, and make the area a draw, even for the residents in Aarhus
The building combines a Turkish Bath on top of a "marital room" with a café on the bottom to interrelate the culturally bound ways of coming together from the middle-east, with the wellness-wave of the west.
